So, what is Spectrum Youth Club? It is a fun youth group that have Fifa 1, a Wii U, XBOX 360, table football, table tennis, pool, air hockey, iPads, The Snack Hatch, Weekly challenges, Film Nights, cooking and termly trips plus many other fun and exciting things. We also have the latest music in the background, so if you aren't running around, then you can just sit and enjoy the music. We are constantly adding to the activities that are available, so you will never run out of things to do.
We meet every Tuesday at 7:15pm till 8:45pm, just to have a lot of fun. It is open to Secondary School students. We currently have 50+ people coming along each week, with 130+ people signed up so if you are new then there is definitely someone you will get along with. Plus for the first two weeks that you come along it will be free, and after that only £1 a week. We tailor the youth group to the people that come along, so that you find it fun and we make sure that we have the right equipment for the people coming along. We also go on trips each term, so last term we went to AirHop which was lots of fun.
The Snack Hatch is a place where you can get all the snacks, drinks and sweets that you want. Our aim is not to make a lot of money, but to give you the stuff you want very cheaply. For example, everything is 30p or less, and we only get the best quality products for you to buy.
Spectrum is organised and run by the Baptist Church, Kilmington. It benefits a lot of the young people of the village and the local area. We feel that we give something back to the village. If you want more information, contact us.
